Ditch is a creative project; an organization at once practical and impossible. Ditch is transformative space, restructured into a personal domain. It’s immediate precursor was The Chateau Institute of Technology, a Glasgow project providing artists in their studios with access to recycled computers, running Free Open Source Software.
Ditch is committed to engage with socially and culturally minded projects, especially where these are community-led. It aims to do so through just relations and ethical interest, by preferential use of Free Software and participation in co-operatives. As well as positively highlighting Free Software Ditch uses refurbished computer equipment.
