Hi everyone,<br><br>I'm not sure if I'm jumping the gun on this one or not but, even though the AnarchoTV website ( <a href="http://www.anarchotv.net">www.anarchotv.net</a> ) isn't as up to scratch as I'd like it to be, I am wanting to start putting the word out there about the next step on for the AnarchoTV project.<br>
<br>The idea is to put together a piece of hardware, with appropriate software installed, that can connect to the internet and plug into to the back of people's television sets. Basically mimicking a freeview television box, cable television box etc.<br>
<br>The software would run a bunch of live internet streams that could be flicked through much like watching television normally, possibly even using a remote control device, as well as show "on demand" content.<br>
<br>All software would be open source and all hardware circuits (despite the project name) would be made available<br><br>I havn't done much research into this yet but am thinking about using a beagleboard as the basis for trying to put a first incarnation together and would have started by now if it weren't for my own financial constraints (having already thrown quite a bit of money at the anarchotv project already),<br>
