I've been using Eagle because it is free - is Sprint Layout worth the 39 Euro?<br><br>The designs I am using aren't that complicated at all, but Eagle seemed to have too many options and yeah, seemed very steep.<br>

Eagle is a beast to get to grips with, it's learning curve is very<br>
steep and it is very rigid in the way it forces you to do your circuit<br>
and PCB design "properly".<br>

For simple circuits I use Sprint Layout which pretty much lets you<br>
slap pads and tracks down anywhere you like. Most of my designs have<br>
an artistic twist, so I prefer that approach.<br>
