<br>might be nothing to do with Ubuntu, e.g. CPU overheating or RAM problems.<br><br>Do you have an Ubuntu boot CD; does it boot correctly off that? If<br>it's dual boot, does it boot into Windows correctly?<br><br>Also, depending on the version of ubuntu there should be an option in<br>
the boot menu to check memory.<br><br>Other than that it's going to be hard to help out, could be all kinds<br>of things. If you can boot off a bootable CD then you can at least<br>copy your data off and then do a fresh install.<br>
