<DIV> I'm looking for a bit of advice on a problem that has sprung up on one of my computers. It is one that has Ubuntu and Firefox, it was running fine and then an update window appeared which suggested that I could update to Ububtu 10.04. I clicked OK and the upgrade began. It seemed to be a long affair so I left it running and when I came back the screen had frozen. unable to do anything I re-booted but no matter what I do it seems to boot up and the desk top appears but the curser is frozen. I have a disc with Ubuntu 10.04 on it which I downloaded after my freeze up. I should add that I'm not a techno geek, I believe more in the science of footer, I just footer around with things and see what happens. In this case the results are nothing.
