These tools are actually opensource projects and can be found on sourceforge.net. However, ubuntu provides a really neat s/w package manager that gives you the ability to select categories for opensource software downloading / installing. <br><br>I'm not sure about ubuntu 9, but this is certainly available on ubuntu 10.<br><br>Have you tried just running ubuntu from the live CD?
