This is a topic that comes up again and again on this list.<br>

The Electron Club is a pretty diverse and dynamic place. Some members<br>
are very politically active and vocal, and others seem to be more<br>
interested in the practical side of hacking and tinkering. Others<br>
(who I suspect are the majority of members) occupy some kind of middle<br>
ground. As a result, there are several opinions of what is and isn't<br>
valid activity for the EC.<br>
<br>
Personally, I think this is a good thing. The constant questioning of<br>
this sort of thing helps keep the Electron Club vibrant. It also<br>
helps keep any one group from dominating the club. As long as things<br>
stay civil, and don't get too extreme I'd keep posting relevant<br>
things, political or not. If a line is crossed, it will certainly be<br>
called out and debated.<br>
<br>
This also means folks shouldn't post if they aren't prepared to get an<br>
occasional dissenting opinion. Hopefully the noise won't be too much<br>
for people to bear.<br>
