That Roland iModela mill looks very cool, I've never seen it before.<div><br></div><div>For the Rigol scope, I got mine from mcs test equipment (<a href="http://www.mcs-testequipment.com/">http://www.mcs-testequipment.com/</a>) they're an authorised UK Rigol supplier which is very important in case something does go wrong, your warranty will be honoured opposed to importing or getting one from ebay where there is no warranty. They also calibrate it before they send it out and of course will calibrate it in the future, not sure how much that costs though as I've had mine less than a year.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Not sure if anyone's thought of this, but it may pay off to see if it's possible to get a deal from a company on a community outreach/promotional type deal. I know my uni gets a ton of deals from RS for dealing with them exclusively. Dave John's at <a href="http://eevblog.com">eevblog.com</a> also gets sent equipment from Agilent. These two examples are maybe operating at a larger scale than the Maklab but it still maybe something worth a shot? </div>

Keep the list suggestions coming, I would suggest that once we have a good list built up, we can have a quick pro/con list for each. After that if enough people are interested, we can perhaps use nominal voting to prioritise.<br>

If there is particular equipment that you know is good (Like the RIGOL DSO or the Roland iModela) then please feel free to supply model numbers and suppliers. I have always bought the cheap or second hand stuff, so I am not especially knowledgaeable on what brands and models offer best functionor dureability.<div class="im HOEnZb">
